About Us

GiffardSim Accountants is a public accounting firm specialising in the provision of individual and business taxation advice, business accounting services, GST advice, self-managed superannuation accounting and audit, business acquisition due diligence, new business establishment and operations, as well as advising in relation to many other general business and individual accounting needs.

All GiffardSim Accountants advisors are qualified accountants who are members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA) or Certified Practicing Accountants Australia (CPA Australia). Both organisations have rigid initial entry requirements, as well as members being required to meet ongoing professional education requirements as a requisite to retaining membership.

GiffardSim Accountants proactively manage the accounting and taxation affairs of clients from many industries; including: health care (medical practitioner), health care (nursing and other health care professionals), retail, catering and restaurants, wholesale, manufacturing, and community based organisations. Further to this, we also offer a comprehensive individual personal taxation return service, as well as salary packaging advice to defence force personnel, nurses, doctors, non-profit organisation employees, and other individuals wishing to investigate if salary packaging would be tax effective in their particular circumstance.

Our aim is to:

  • Be proactive and creative when solving client problems

GiffardSim Accountants provide practical and forward looking services that our clients need on a day-to-day basis. We like to think that business clients see us as a value added extension to their business, and our individual clients see us as committed professionals who provide proactive accurate and independent advice specific to them. We always aim to reduce the worry and workload associated with accounting and compliance issues, as well aiming to legitimately minimise your tax obligations by ensuring our advisors remain committed to ongoing relevant post-graduate tax study.

GiffardSim Accountants are especially proud to continue our close association and commitment to our community. We achieve this by supporting community based organisations through the provision of specialised accounting and audit needs at a reduced cost.
